Weaknesses: None Summary: I have two of these in a RAID 1 configuration. They have run flawlessly, and are extremely fast. According to WD, this is the same basic drive mechanism as their RE3 enterprise drives, but without the vibration resistance or testing. I also have RE3's in my server, and these drives appear identical. I own 20+ drives, and I so far have had no failures or SMART drive faults on any of the 7200 RPM WD 500G --> 1 TB drives. N/A Member Since: Product Experience: 25 Days	BUY SEAGATE Strengths: NONE I SEE Weaknesses: DIED IN THREE WEEKS Summary: I had this drive about three weeks on a brand new system.. I just got done loading two weeks of OS and other programs and getting it the way I wanted.. I just moved today 300 gigs of data off five hard drives 5-7 years old and did a virus scan and noticed system froze I rebooted and cant see drive on and off and win xp never finished a boot, I load this drive into old system and that one also cant see drive at all.. I also had a six month old WD SE16 die three months ago and had $300 locked up on may debit card for a drive I paid $79 and had a used drive sent in return.. WD must love when UPS loses the box and they more than triple there profits.. Buy anything but Westen Digital 13% of People (4/30) found this review helpful.
